Primitive Folk Art by Benedetta

Benedetta's art came to me via her blog page, which is delightful enough to profile here in itself. However, her shoppe (sic) is where it's all happening. Her wonderful whimsical pictures, full of delicate color and sweetness, are a pleasure to show on my blog today. I have a particular fondness for her cats, both the painted and doll variety, but her angel girls are also a joy. The dolls on her site, incidentally, are not meant as toys. They are little heirlooms, for big people to display proudly as a piece of Americana.

The link to her shop is under Great Sites to Visit in the left sidebar. She has an Etsy shop (of course), but her Art Shoppe has so much variety, that I decided to link you to that. Oh, and don't you just love the eyes, especially on the cats!

Enjoy.
