Mina dela Cruz and Realism

The name is exotic, but Mina is another Ontario girl, in Toronto. I didn't deliberately set out to focus on a local artist again, but she just presented herself at my art site, Brushspace, as I was doing a random browse.

This is the best in Realism, so real you feel you could touch each item, smell the fruit and vegetables. The work is superb, but the fact that Mina is self-taught, except for drawing lessons(!), is astounding.

An ex-corporate 'suit', she has escaped, for the good of all of us!
